PIXAR SuperV 30Ah (UK) Electric Bike

For a two-car household, we've relegated one car to very occasional use since getting the SuperV. For 90% of our local trips – gym, shops, visiting friends, classes – the bike is faster, cheaper, and more enjoyable. It's essentially our electric "second car" with zero emissions, negligible running costs, and free parking everywhere. The best household efficiency upgrade we've made.

Got caught in a proper monsoon on my way home. The bike was completely drenched. I was worried about the electronics, but the IP54 rating is legit. Everything kept working perfectly: display, motor, lights. The mechanical brakes took a lap around the block to dry off and regain full power, as expected. I dried it off when I got home, and it's been flawless since. True all-weather capability.

My weekly supermarket trip used to be a car-only affair. The SuperV has changed that completely. The rear rack handles two full panniers with ease, and the motor's torque makes the loaded weight feel insignificant, even on the slight incline back to my house. The upright position gives me great visibility in the parking lot and on the bike lane. It's turned a chore into a quick, enjoyable errand. I'm saving on fuel and getting some fresh air – a win-win!

My commute involves several steep hills, and the SperV handles them effortlessly. The 500W motor provides ample power, and the battery lasts the round trip. The fat tires offer good grip on wet roads. The mechanical brakes are strong enough. The weight is noticeable but not problematic. A perfect bike for hilly areas.

As a daily commuter with some serious inclines on my route, this SuperV has been a revelation. The 500W rear hub motor provides consistent, smooth power that makes light work of hills that used to leave me sweating. The 48V battery easily handles my 25km round trip with plenty to spare, even on the highest assist level. I love the upright, comfortable posture for city riding. My only gripe is the charging time; planning overnight charging is a must. Overall, it has transformed my commute from a chore into a joy. Highly recommended for city dwellers.
