Having used the PIXAR Space1 for over four months as my primary mode of transportation, I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for urban mobility. The 500W rear hub motor provides more than enough power for my daily 18-kilometer commute, which includes several moderate hills. I typically ride in pedal-assist mode 2 or 3, and the 48V 20Ah battery consistently delivers between 55 and 60 kilometers of range before needing a recharge. That’s about three full days of commuting for me. The 32 km/h top speed is perfectly adequate for city traffic and bike lanes—it feels safe yet brisk. The 26x4 inch fat tires are a game-changer for comfort; they absorb bumps from potholes and uneven pavement that would be jarring on a standard bike. The hardtail suspension is firm but works well with the tires to smooth out the ride. I’ve loaded the bike with groceries, reaching close to the 150 kg max load, and it remained stable and powerful. The mechanical disc brakes are simple and effective, though I did have to tighten them after the first 100 km. The 6.8-hour charging time is the only noticeable downside; I simply plug it in overnight. At 31.5 kg, it’s substantial, but the motor assistance makes that weight irrelevant while riding. The IP54 rating has proven itself in light rain. For the price, this bike offers incredible utility, comfort, and reliability for a city dweller.
I've been using the PIXAR Space1 for my daily 15km commute for three months now, and it has completely transformed my routine. The 48V battery consistently delivers the promised 60km range even with moderate pedal assist. The hardtail suspension handles city potholes surprisingly well, and the mechanical brakes offer reliable stopping power. At 31.5kg, it’s sturdy but manageable. I appreciate the IP54 rating—I’ve ridden in light rain without issues. My only minor gripe is the 6.8-hour charging time, which requires a bit of planning. Overall, an excellent investment for urban mobility.
As someone who splits their time between city living and weekend escapes to the countryside, I needed an e-bike that could truly handle "all-terrain." The PIXAR Space1 has been that bike. The marketing points of City, Commuter, Mountain, Fat, and All-Terrain are not exaggerations. During the week, it’s a quiet, efficient commuter. The 500W motor is surprisingly refined, providing smooth acceleration from stops. On weekends, I’ve taken it on gravel forest service roads, packed sand beaches, and even some mild single-track. The 4-inch wide tires provide immense floatation and grip on loose surfaces, and the rear hub motor delivers torque reliably when climbing out of soft sand or up a gravel incline. The hardtail frame means you feel bigger hits, but with the tire pressure adjusted, it’s very manageable. I’ve pushed the range to its limits on a mixed-terrain adventure and managed just over 70 km with a combination of throttle and eco-level assist before the battery indicator hit one bar. The advertised 60 km max e-range is conservative, which I appreciate. The bike feels incredibly sturdy, thanks in part to its 31.5 kg weight. This sturdiness translates to confidence when riding off-pavement. The mechanical brakes are adequate; they stop the bike, but lack the progressive feel and sheer power of hydraulic systems, especially on long, muddy descents. That’s my main compromise for the price. Overall, the Space1 is a fantastically versatile machine that has expanded my riding horizons without requiring a huge financial investment.
As an occasional off-road enthusiast, I wanted an e-bike that could handle both city streets and forest trails. The Space1 exceeded my expectations! The 4-inch fat tires provide incredible traction on loose gravel and sand, and the 500W rear hub motor offers plenty of torque for steep inclines. I’ve taken it on 40km mixed-terrain rides with battery to spare. The max load of 150kg is generous—I carry camping gear without worry. The mechanical brakes are effective but can feel slightly spongy on long descents. Still, for the price, this bike is a blast!
I’ve been using the Space1 for my daily 15km commute for about four months now, and it has completely changed how I get to work. The 500W motor provides plenty of power for hills, and the 48V battery easily lasts me three days between charges. The fat tires make the ride comfortable even on rough city streets, and the hardtail suspension handles bumps well. I did have to tighten the mechanical brakes a few times, but that’s a minor issue. Overall, it’s a reliable and fun way to travel.
